Lehmann Anxious Bride

We made three new wheels, replaced the lady's arm and handerkerchief and replaced the hook that attaches the two sections of the toy. All parts are painted to match the age of the toy.

Bing Boat
Bing Boat

As is obvious from the before photograph on the left, this toy needed a lot of TLC. All existing original parts were removed from the hull and the piece was brought back to the tin finish. All missing parts were re-manufactured and re-attached, just as early toymakers would do. New masts, flags, smokestacks, lifeboats, air vents, etc. were added and then the boat was repainted. (Note: A piece such as this can also be "aged" during restoration if desired).

Bing Touring Car

This car required many new parts including: headlamps, windshield, wheels, driver, brake lever, fender bracket and steering wheel. As well as repainting, it required a complete overhaul of its clockwork motor. (Note: restoration work was done inside as well as outside, with replacement of springs, gears and wind-up mechanism).

Linemar Pluto

Three legs, four feet, a windup mechanism, ears and tail and Pluto was rocking again. The painting of lithography repairs is dealt with carefully in order to retain the toy's original appearance.

We constructed a new windshield, steering wheel, rewired the motor, buffed the bodywork and replated all of the nickel trim to bring this car back to its former glory.
